in the year of 1990, a winter night, guy ethan jacobs was born in austin, texas. there never meant to be a baby, but drunken nights lead to a pregnancy for his mom and he was born nine months later. his dad was a deadbeat, trying to get jobs, but never actually succeeding and the few times he did, he lost the job a few days later. he had two big passions in life, drinking and football. not a day went by without the tv being on, a game of football on the screen and his dad in the armchair with a couple of beer bottles spread all over the living room, and a half empty one in his hand. he was at his grandparents' house when his mom worked. and she worked as close to 24/7 as she possibly could without collapsing. life wasn't easy, and guy got to learn that the hard way. not only was his dad a loser and a deadbeat, he was also violent drunk added to all of that. so when his mom came home from a long day of work, picked him up from his grandparents and then started with dinner, he was usually drunk and annoyed. it usually ended in him yelling, throwing a few bottles over their heads and beating his mom. his dad did not touch him until he was twelve and stepped between his parents. after that it was daily beating. so guy did what he had to do, stay as much away from home as possible. he began to hang with older guys, started drinking himself in a early age, stealing, smoking and doing every other little thing you can think of. it kept going on like that, over and over for years, until he was fifteen.
the first foster home he came to was not much better than the first one, and he soon left that one and he came to and older couple, things were good at first, and they were good to him. but as he started school and got friends of the bad kind, things changed. he was gone all nights, he was brought home by the police and the couple couldn't handle him anymore. that was when he came to this family in chapel hill. they were middle class and they had already one teenagers in the family, who they had adopted when she was a baby, so they were very brave when they took in a teenager guy too. here he had rules to follow, and when he crossed them he was not allowed out, just what he needed. even if he protested against at first and pretty much hated it, and he even treated he would run away. but soon he got used to it, and he got new friends in school. after a few years he had his grades up and he felt like one of the family. even if he always felt like the poor kid from texas. he was still very much the trouble maker, now he just thought more before he acted. and it paid off when he applied to a college, and got in.
now he's on his first year and he's loving college life. but he has gotten himself into quite a lot of problems again. just this time he claims he's having them under control, but if you ask other people, they would probably say something else.
